Ideas :

	use the low cost SONY DIGITAL8 DCR-TR7000E camcorder like a power black box that can convert analog video/audio to compressed digital video/audio (conform to the IEEE1394 standard) and vice versa,
	use the low cost SONY DIGITAL8 DCR-TR7000E camcorder for digitally backuping all your DV tapes on low cost HI8 MP tapes,
	use the low cost SONY DIGITAL8 DCR-TR7000E camcorder for converting all your old analog 8/Hi8 tapes to DV. Indeed all analog 8/Hi8 videos played on this D8 camera are immediatly outted to the DV plug.
